This fun-packed resort features 98 Tower rooms connected to the Waterpark through interior corridors and 102 exterior entrance rooms in the two Atrium buildings located approximately 50 yards from the Waterpark. This is a well-kept and clean establishment. Everyone was very friendly. Though there was not coffee in the lobby (We all know I love my coffee), they had coffee in the rooms. I had no trouble from any staff when I requested extra. Our housekeeper, Elaina, was so helpful and took great care of us while we stayed there. I think my only drawback was there was not a microwave in the room. I was told that microwaves were being discussed and may be added in the future.
An outragous 30,000 square foot indoor waterpark and 10,000 square foot outdoor waterpark. There are observation windows on our floor at the towers overlooking the indoor waterpark. Then add to that – they also have an on-site restaurant (which was closed except for breakfast during the week this time of year), a 24-hour arcade and gift shop, and day spa & salon. If you forget your swimsuit, they have that and other essentials in their gift shop. We did not make it to the spa, but looked like they have some great services. I think it is safe to say that my granddaughter really enjoyed the slides!
Word of warning!!! The Lazy River is far from lazy. I got myself all comfy in one of their inner tubes and hopped on the river... It was exhausting fun to steer clear of the buckets dropping water and the waterfalls. Must admit, I did not do a good job of steering clear! Lots of fun even for an old gal like me! I was impressed with the number of lifeguards and their attention to the well-being and safety of the guests. The indoor park is kept at a nice 84 degrees.
We stayed in a Tower room that had 2 double beds, 32” flat screen tv, mini fridge, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. Our room also included a built-in Kiddie Cove (6′ x 4′) with a bunk bed and 19” flat screen tv.
All in all, I thought Castle Rock Resort and Water park was a nice place to stay. Located on Green Mountain Drive, it is also located close to shows and other activities that make Branson famous. This is a great place to stay, especially if you have children. The waterpark will keep the young ones entertained, and I guarantee they will fall asleep easily after a day of water fun!
